420 Developer Hub — Roadmap Closeout

Status

The Developer Hub implementation roadmap is complete through DEVHUB-19.

The final implementation phase was merged by PR #211 at main commit 6be2084727e97bc720126cdfd45955840bd3fd9c after exact-head qualification of 16e9581e008f4db688593c6f42114c8fbda873e7 across 420 Developer Hub, 420Docs Qualification, and 420 Integrated Qualification.

This closeout means the planned Developer Hub architecture and implementation work is complete. It does not mean the public testnet or mainnet is automatically ready to launch. Launch readiness remains evidence-driven and external to the Hub's authority.

What is now available

The Developer Hub now provides a developer-facing control plane for:

  • network and environment discovery;
  • canonical contract catalogue and verified interface discovery;
  • SDK and CLI access;
  • Wallet/smart-account developer integration;
  • local/devnet bootstrap;
  • project templates;
  • testnet faucet/test-account flows;
  • deployment and verification orchestration;
  • 420Indexer-backed developer queries while preserving projection/non-authority boundaries;
  • protocol integration guides;
  • app registration and publishing workflows;
  • dashboard views;
  • logs, events, diagnostics, and debug correlation;
  • off-chain service identity and API credential lifecycle;
  • service-health/status aggregation;
  • evidence-driven developer qualification;
  • evidence-driven production launch readiness and exact release-candidate closeout binding.

Deployment-time work that remains

The following are deployment-time obligations, not unfinished Developer Hub roadmap phases:

  1. Generate real network manifests for the selected testnet/mainnet environments.
  2. Populate deployed canonical contract addresses, verified ABI/interface references, and production service endpoints.
  3. Configure real service identities, credentials, and operational secret management outside the repository.
  4. Produce a real release-candidate SHA and exact CI-evidence handoff for that candidate.
  5. Run the repository release-readiness process and satisfy every required production/testnet gate in release/readiness.json.
  6. Produce real production dependency evidence, live Engine evidence, real-node evidence, partition/restart evidence, soak evidence, and any other release gates required by the chain release process.
  7. Bind the selected candidate descriptor to the exact release channel and SHA.
  8. Perform deployment/activation through the appropriate release, operator, Registry, governance, Wallet, and protocol-authority procedures.
  9. Configure production observability, public status endpoints, alerting, operational runbooks, and incident-response ownership.
  10. Re-run exact-head qualification after any deployment-affecting code or configuration change.

None of those activities should be represented as complete merely because the Developer Hub implementation is complete.

Authority boundary at closeout

The Developer Hub remains a noncanonical developer control plane.

It may discover, aggregate, validate, render, orchestrate, qualify, and hand off evidence. It does not become chain authority, Registry authority, governance authority, Wallet authority, settlement/finality authority, audit authority, security-certification authority, or release-activation authority.

A Developer Hub qualification PASS is not equivalent to production readiness. A DEVHUB-19 READY result is only valid when every required independent input is explicitly ready for the exact selected candidate.

Roadmap disposition

There is no planned DEVHUB-20 implementation phase in the completed roadmap.

Future Developer Hub work should be opened only as one of:

  • deployment/configuration work tied to a concrete environment;
  • maintenance or defect remediation;
  • compatibility work required by a changed protocol/service interface;
  • a separately approved new feature or roadmap extension.

The original DEVHUB-0 through DEVHUB-19 build roadmap is therefore CLOSED / COMPLETE.
