Are .420 names permanent?

No. Ownership is lease-based and records expire.

Does a name prove identity?

No. It is a naming/resolution record.

What happens on transfer?

The new owner accepts; resolution resets to that owner and prior profile/service links are cleared.

Is reverse resolution enough to trust a name?

No. Canonical forward resolution and expiry are rechecked.
