Getting started with 420 Arbitration

A case opens against an active arbitration domain and permanently snapshots the resolver, appeal resolver, evidence window, appeal window and maximum appeals that apply to that case.

The case binds claimant, respondent, domain, originating component/object, claim commitment and requested-remedy commitment. Opening a case records a dispute; it is not a ruling.

Evidence is committed by hash and may remain encrypted or off-chain.
